First Snow – releasing December 1st, 2023
First Snow is a solo piano instrumental that captures that magical feeling of the first snow of the season. Watching the first snow quietly and gently falling it brings back so many memories of seasons that have come and gone, children who have grown, and friends and family who have passed. Yet it is also uplifting and a reminder of the holiday season soon to come, creating new memories.
First Snow is written in the key of E Major and utilizes Major 7th and 9th chords to evoke that sense of nostalgia.
